Accofluor is a family-owned Danish producer of machined components in advanced plastics. Our focus is on developing tools and innovative in-house production methods.

Accofluor’s Main Area of Business

  • Production of high quality seals and other special machined components for use in many applications worldwide
  • Seals are produced in dimensions from ID 2 mm and up
  • Seals can be supplied in  our own materials, as well as other advanced plastics
  • Accofluor has a vast portfolio of our own developed materials, and is continuously developing more
  • Guide tape in numerous widths and thicknesses
  • High definition 3D scanning of smaller parts (up to 100x100x75 mm)

History

  • 1978 – AI Plast is founded
  • 1988 – AI Plast is rebranded as Accofluor
  • 1991 – B+S Scandinavia is founded by Steen Christensen, after parting ways with Busak & Shamban (now known as Trelleborg)
  • 1995 – A stake in B+S Scandinavia is acquired by Sealpool Sweden and renamed Sealpool Denmark
  • 2000 – Sealpool Sweden – and thus shares in Sealpool Denmark – is acquired by SKF
  • 2004 – Steen Christensen purchases Sealpool Denmark from SKF, and the company is renamed EVCO Nordic
  • 2005 – EVCO Nordic acquires production unit Accofluor and converts it into an independent company named Accofluor
  • 2007 – Accofluor moves to the current facility in Birkerød, North of Copenhagen
  • 2010 – Accofluor is ISO 9001:2000-certified
  • 2015 – Accofluor is ISO 9001:2015-certified
  • 2018 – New building is constructed, and another building was purchased, thereby expanding by 1000m2 to increase production capacity
