Metal case lip seals consists of a stamped metal case, one or more PTFE lips and a static FKM seal. Some variants also have retaining springs. They are manufactured to specific grooves, depending on the required dimensions in the given application.

They are available with a variety of different lip-materials and casing alloys, depending on what is most suitable.

Metal case lip seals are able to function at high rotational velocities, but at low pressures.
