Single acting ASL-seal (internal sealing)

Utilizing a helically wound spring in combination with a PTFE seal jacket will ensure a good static seal ability and seal ability in both vacuum and cryogenic applications.
The helically wound spring has the benefit of exerting a high spring force at low compression, compared to a seal energized by a V-spring.

Advantages:

• Very high chemical resistance, compared to similar seals using rubber O-rings
• Long shelf life
• Resistant to wear and tear

Limitations:

• Operation pressure: Up to 85 MPa (850 bar)
• Velocity: Only for static applications
• Temperature: -130°C to 260°C
