Guide Tape Strips

Guide Tape is preferentially used in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. It guides the movement of pistons and piston rods to avoid metallic contact between sliding parts, and to absorb transverse forces.

We supply Guide Tape in various widths from 2 to 80 mm and in thickness from 1,0 to 5,0 mm. Materials are chosen for the specific application. The Guide Tape can have a further treatment applied to give it’s surface a Diamond Structure (also called “Tear Drop”) for increased lubrication.

Our guide tape strips are cut to length. The cuts can be as follows:

• 0°
• 30°
• 45°
• 60°
• Z-cut

Dimensions for Z-cut:

• Max width (T): 12 mm
• Length (L): 4, 6 and 8 mm
