ASL-SEAL

Accofluor’s Spring Activated Lip SealsĀ are called ASL-seals

The ASL-sealĀ is a single-acting, spring activated PTFE seal for either piston or rod. Our range of ASL-seals are capable of covering a vast variety of applications. These include:

  • Static
  • Axially reciprocating movements
  • Rotating movement

 

ASL-seals often replace rubber seals in applications dealing with high or low temperatures, or with non-lubricated services. ASL-seals can be delivered with many different spring types and materials, adjusted to demands on friction, aggressive media, high wear resistance etc.

  • 610
    • Typically with a helical spring
    • Designed for slow dynamic or static applicationsĀ  (high sealing ability at lower pressures)
  • 610A
    • Typically with a V-spring
    • Dynamic applications with scraper lip, wipes media from the rod
  • 610D
    • Typically with a V-spring
    • With a thicker dynamic lip, for increased durability
  • 610R
    • Always with a V-spring
    • With clamping flange to keep the seal from rotating
  • 610S
    • Typically with a V-spring
    • For static applications
  • 611
    • V-spring or helical spring
    • For internal sealing
